The Bryngelson-Laughlin Duo

Brilliant virtuosity, exquisite control of dynamics and phrasing and innovative programming are the hallmarks of a Bryngelson-Laughlin Duo performance. Their wide-ranging repertoire includes colorful tangos by Piazzolla, the operatic lyricism of Giuliani, delicately crafted post-modern works by Francaix and Castelnuovo-Tedesco, and the frenetic, jazzy rhythms of Michael Daugherty.

Beth Bryngelson and Christopher Laughlin, both acclaimed soloists in their own right, first performed together on the Little Night Music series in Chicago in 2002.  Since then they have performed live on WFMT radio in Chicago, on Wisconsin Public Radio, and are prizewinners in the 2003 Mid-America Guitar Ensemble Festival International Competition.
